Why is my Twitch or Kick download not working?

Most failures have one of three causes: the link points to a channel or a live stream instead of one clip or past broadcast, the video is deleted, private or subscriber-only, or Twitch or Kick is briefly slow. Check the link, then wait a minute and try again.

Works withTwitchandKickclip and VOD links.

The link isn't a clip or a VOD

Clipr needs a link to one clip (clips.twitch.tv/…, kick.com/name/clips/…) or one past broadcast (twitch.tv/videos/…, kick.com/name/videos/…). A channel page or a live stream won't work.

The video can't be watched publicly

Deleted clips and deleted, private or subscriber-only VODs can't be downloaded. If you can't watch it on Twitch or Kick without subscribing, Clipr can't save it.

Twitch or Kick is slow or changed something

Both sometimes slow down or change how they serve video. Wait a minute and try again.

My VOD stops at 2 hours. Is that a failure?

No. Each download covers up to 2 hours; download a longer stream in parts.
