How many captioned Shorts can I make?
On Clipr Free you can make 30 captioned Shorts a month. Starter and Creator are unlimited, under fair use. Only finished server work counts, so failed runs and browser exports never use your allowance.
What counts
- Counts: finished server work, which means generated captions and Shorts rendered on Clipr's servers.
- Doesn't count: failed runs, clips with no speech, and Shorts exported in your browser.
Each finished job counts once. Generating a clip's captions uses one. If the Short then renders on Clipr's servers (on a phone, for example, or when it's over 90 seconds), that render uses one more; exported in your browser, it adds nothing.
When you run out
The editor says "You've used this month's N captioned Shorts." and the date more arrive. The main button becomes Export free, without captions, so you can still make the Short without captions. When the allowance comes back, see allowance reset.

How do I see how many I have left?
Studio shows "N captioned Shorts left · N on hold" at the top on Free. In the quick converter, signed in, the button reads Add captions in the editor · N left.
